MVault — Data Deletion Instructions

Use these instructions to request deletion of your MVault information, including information associated with a Facebook-connected account.

1. Request deletion of your MVault account

Sign in to MVault, open Settings, select “Privacy, data export and account deletion”, then expand “Request account deletion”. Email accounts must confirm their current password inside MVault. For a provider account, sign in again first; a genuine sign-in within five minutes is required. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and select “Request account deletion”.

A successful request displays “Request saved. Your account data stays private.” The request list shows its status and actual grace-period end date. While pending, you can select “Cancel deletion request” before finalisation begins. A request does not immediately erase data.

Real-account deletion is not automated. The current finalisation tool is restricted to synthetic development accounts. For a real account, or if you cannot sign in, email maintenancevault@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject MVault Data Deletion Request. Ask the operator to review your account and the information you want removed. Submitting an in-app request does not guarantee completion of real-account erasure.

2. Facebook-connected accounts

To revoke MVault’s Facebook access, open Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, select MVault and choose Remove. Facebook’s labels may vary by device. You can also start from Facebook Apps and Websites settings.

Removing MVault from Facebook does not necessarily delete your MVault account or data already held by MVault. Separately request deletion of your MVault information using the instructions on this page.

Facebook login is currently disabled on MVault. The implemented login flow, when enabled, validates Facebook permissions and uses the provider account identifier and available name/email information for authentication. The Facebook access token is used during that exchange and is not saved by this login flow. A linked provider identity is stored separately from your MVault session. MVault does not implement automatic account erasure when Facebook access is revoked.

3. Data included in a deletion request

You can ask for review of your profile and linked provider identity; homes, rooms and asset information; maintenance tasks, completion history and reminders; uploaded documents and exports; notification preferences and other stored account information.

The existing synthetic-account finalisation process revokes access and identities, removes document and export files, removes credential and action-token records, anonymises profile and vault text, and clears notification content. That tool cannot be used to finalise real production accounts. The operator must review what can be removed for a real-account request; these instructions do not promise that every requested item can already be erased through self-service.

As described in the Privacy Policy, minimal audit, consent and transaction-related records may remain for security, integrity, dispute handling or applicable legal obligations. Some records have no automatic deletion schedule. Archived records and documents removed from view may remain in storage. Backups, where maintained, may contain earlier data until separately removed. There is no promise of immediate or irreversible erasure from all records or backups, and no fixed retention period is promised here.

4. Contact and follow-up

Email maintenancevault@gmail.com with subject MVault Data Deletion Request. Identify your registered email address and describe whether you want account deletion or removal of particular information. If you have an in-app deletion request, mention it. If you cannot access the registered mailbox, explain that without sending sensitive identity documents unsolicited.

Account ownership must be verified before account data is deleted. Sending an email is a request for review, not proof of ownership or confirmation of deletion. Use MVault’s authenticated controls where available; the operator may need further identity verification before acting. Never email passwords, one-time codes, sign-in/reset links, access tokens or recovery codes.

The published process is operator review; there is no guaranteed response or completion time or automated real-account erasure confirmation. Ask the operator for the status, any verification needed, what removal is possible and any retained records. The in-app “Request saved” message confirms a request was saved, not that erasure is complete.

5. Privacy Policy

Read the MVault Privacy Policy for information handling, retention and your choices. These instructions explain the available request process and do not change that policy or limit applicable legal rights.
