Free public beta
MVault is free during public beta. No payment details are required, and subscriptions, coupon redemption, invoices, refunds and payment collection are unavailable. We may close new signup or beta enrolment. Existing account data is preserved; any future change to the service will be communicated before it applies.
About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to MVault / Maintenance Vault, operated by Vijaya Kumar Chintada, an individual operator based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. “We”, “us” and “our” mean this operator. Contact us at maintenancevault@gmail.com.
MVault helps homeowners organise personal home information, documents, warranties and maintenance. By using MVault, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 to create an account.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed.
Your account responsibilities
Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. Safeguard your password, sign-in provider account and devices, and do not share access in a way that puts your records or another person’s information at risk. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You are responsible for the information you enter and for having permission to upload, store and use it. Do not upload another person’s private information or copyrighted material without the necessary authority.
Using MVault responsibly
Use MVault lawfully for personal home organisation and maintenance management. Do not:
- Upload malware, illegal content or files intended to damage or disrupt systems.
- Abuse the service, overload it, send spam or interfere with other users.
- Bypass security, quotas, scanning or access controls, or try to view another user’s account or content.
- Misrepresent your identity, entitlement, location or eligibility for a trial or coupon.
If you find a security issue, report it privately to maintenancevault@gmail.com without accessing or sharing other users’ information.
Your records and documents
You retain your rights in the content you upload. You give the operator permission to store, process, scan, reproduce for technical operation and display that content as needed to provide, secure and support MVault. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorise public publication of your documents.
Documents are private and access-controlled. Uploads may be quarantined while validation and malware checks run. Preview and download require a passed scan and authorised access. Unsafe, unscannable, unsupported or unapproved files may be blocked, including when a scanner is unavailable or times out. A passed scan is not a guarantee that a file is harmless.
File type, size, storage and usage limits may apply. Keep backup copies outside MVault; the service is not a substitute for your own record keeping.
Your home and maintenance decisions
You remain responsible for your home, maintenance decisions, records, warranties, insurance and backup copies. Check dates and instructions against original records, manufacturers’ guidance and advice from qualified professionals.
MVault is an organisational tool, not a professional maintenance, insurance, legal, financial or safety adviser. Reminders depend on your entries, preferences and available features. They may be delayed or unavailable and must not be relied on for emergencies or safety-critical decisions. MVault does not guarantee that a reminder preserves a warranty or insurance cover.
Trials, subscriptions, pricing and coupons
Trials, subscriptions, geography-based pricing and coupons apply only when made available in the product. Review the displayed duration, eligibility, currency, price, limits and any renewal or cancellation terms before choosing an offer. A free trial is time-limited and does not promise permanent free access. Pricing may vary by the supported country or region.
Coupons may have expiry dates, usage limits and eligibility conditions. They have only the value and use described in the offer and do not override mandatory consumer rights.
These terms do not activate payments or recurring collection. A subscription label, trial expiry or coupon does not by itself authorise a charge. If paid features are offered, payment and any recurring collection require the applicable checkout and authorisation steps. Any applicable refund and cancellation terms must be shown with the offer, subject to rights provided by law.
Availability and product changes
MVault is an early-stage product. Features, supported files, capacity and availability may change; features may be updated, suspended or withdrawn. Maintenance, errors, security incidents and provider outages can interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted service or that every feature will remain available.
Google or Facebook login, Brevo transactional email and payment-provider features operate only when the relevant integration is enabled. A reference to a provider does not mean it is currently available. Separate provider terms may apply when you choose to use one.
Suspension, termination and leaving
We may restrict or suspend access, block content or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to address abuse, a breach of these terms, security risks or a legal requirement. Urgent security action may occur without advance notice. Contact us if you believe a restriction was applied in error.
You may stop using MVault and request an export or account deletion in your signed-in privacy settings. These controls have the limits and review steps explained in the Privacy Policy; a deletion request is not immediate erasure. Suspension or termination does not itself mean all stored records have been deleted.
Responsibility and limits of liability
We aim to provide a useful service, but cannot guarantee that information is complete, that the service will be error-free, or that documents and reminders will always be available. Use your own judgement and keep independent records.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or business opportunities arising from use of, or inability to use, MVault. We are not responsible for losses caused by information you enter incorrectly or decisions you make independently, except to the extent the law makes us responsible.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes mandatory consumer rights or remedies. These qualifications take priority over any other limitation in these terms.
Governing law and disputes
Indian law applies to these terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other rights that apply to you. Where legally permitted, courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India will have jurisdiction over disputes. This does not prevent you from using a consumer forum, court or remedy available under mandatory law. You may contact maintenancevault@gmail.com to seek a resolution without giving up those rights.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as MVault develops. The updated terms and effective date will be posted here. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or ask for agreement. Review changes before continuing to use the service; if you do not agree, stop using it and contact us about export or account closure. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen under mandatory law.
