MVault frequently asked questions
Direct answers about the product and its current limitations.
What is MVault?
MVault is a web application for homeowners to organise home records, appliance details, documents and maintenance tasks. Its official website is https://mvault.store.
How does MVault help homeowners?
It connects home and item records with purchase details, warranty dates, supporting documents and maintenance planning, instead of leaving those details in separate places.
How can I track home maintenance?
Approved testers can create tasks with due dates and recurrence and record completion. Use manufacturer instructions and professional advice to choose appropriate tasks.
Can I organise appliance warranties?
You can record purchase details and warranty dates and connect supporting documents. MVault does not sell warranties, register coverage or decide claims.
Can I store home documents?
Private document handling is implemented for approved testers. Uploads are quarantined and must pass scanning before authorised preview or download. Keep an independent copy of important documents; live workflow validation is still underway.
How do maintenance reminders work?
Scheduled processing and account notification preferences support reminders. Delivery validation is ongoing; maintenance email delivery is not promised. MVault is not an emergency alarm or guaranteed notification service.
Is MVault available as a free beta?
Only approved testers currently have access to the restricted free beta. General public registration is closed. Current testers are not charged and payments are disabled.
What happens when the beta period ends?
The beta end date, future pricing and wider availability have not been announced. Future changes are subject to the published Terms and communications before they apply.
How do I get support?
Email maintenancevault@gmail.com with a description of the problem and approximate time. Do not send passwords, private documents, verification links or recovery codes.
How is my information protected?
The implementation uses account authorisation, private object storage and quarantine/scanning checks for documents. HTTPS protects transport. These controls do not guarantee that every file is safe or that service is uninterrupted. Read the Privacy Policy and retain independent copies.
