Track home maintenance with context
A home maintenance tracker keeps the task, due date and completion history together so routine care is easier to review.
Build a practical task list
Start with the manufacturer’s instructions and records for your home. Add a clear task title, a due date and the relevant home or item. A smoke-alarm check and an appliance service are examples, not a universal maintenance schedule or safety recommendation.
Use recurring tasks deliberately
Set recurrence for work that repeats and review the next due date after completion. Record what was done so you can distinguish planned work from completed work. Do not treat an automatically scheduled task as proof that a professional inspection happened.
Connect tasks to the rest of your records
An inventory record can hold the item details, while a document can hold a service manual or receipt. Reminder settings help you review upcoming work.
Access and responsibility
Maintenance tools are currently limited to approved beta testers. MVault helps organise records; it does not replace professional advice, emergency alarms or manufacturer safety instructions. Keep independent reminders for time-critical obligations.
